The property includes five outdoor pools, rivers, and waterfalls that cover 6.6 acres a 380,000 sq ft convention center, the MGM Grand Garden Arena, and the Grand Spa. It also houses numerous shops and night clubs, 19 restaurants, and the largest casino in Clark County, which occupies 171,500 sq ft.

It is a state-of-the-art betting area that features seating for 104 guests, with thirty-six 65-inch LCD televisions and twenty-four 42-inch plasmas. The casino also features six electronic display boards and 17 separate race and sports betting stations.
Bets are offered on a range of sports including major international athletic and race events, NASCAR, boxing, MMA, soccer, championship golf, championship tennis, and thoroughbred racing. MGM Grand is the first Race & Sports Book to offer "Skyboxes" for its guests. These boxes can hold up to 10 guests and come with beverage servers and complimentary food.
